Attention: Literary Lions! Join us for a Virtual bi-coastal Book Discussion
  • When: March 9, 2021, 5PM Pacific/8PM Eastern
  • Special Guest:  John Urschel ’12, ’13g Sci
  • Your hosts:  Orange County-Inland Empire CA and Washington-Greene PA Chapters

We will discuss John Urschel’s autobiographical, Mind and Matter: A Life in Math and Football (2019), co-written by Louisa Thomas.
While at Penn State, John was awarded the William V. Campbell Trophy, known as the “academic Heisman”.
When you read the book, you’ll understand why. His love for Penn State and his passion for football and math make an inspirational story.
We recommend the book for school age children as well. The book is available on Amazon or other book sites.   (Please use our account at Amazon Smile to support our Chapter with your purchase: https://smile.amazon.com/ch/82-5081013).
RSVP by March 8 is mandatory for Zoom link. Special prize drawing for two attendees.
Start reading, and we’ll see you on March 9!
